DRIVER STATUS MONITOR

AZIMUT DSM (Driver Status Monitor) is a kind of auxiliary driving warning system which is based on machine vision technology. Its objective is to detect the state of the driver to avoid unsafe driving behaviour.
The most notable is the detection of fatigue and avoiding falling asleep at the wheel, but it also alerts when it detects the driver's distraction, when he smokes or when using a mobile phone.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All you need is an ultra-sensitive infrared camera that can be placed on the side of the vehicle or on the front of the dashboard. The camera is connected to the artificial intelligence system, which is in charge of reading, interpreting or predicting risk situations. It acts by generating an alert that is played on the driver's warning device or device by emitting sounds and images. The system, in turn, is connected to the management platform in the cloud, where it broadcasts the recording.
